KATIE ROSE MEEHAN

Katie Rose Meehan has been yoga and meditation coach and teacher for the past 9 years and a dedicated practitioner for over 22 years.


She has lived and travelled with teachers throughout India and Australia and has taught yoga and meditation in a broad variety of settings. From intensive silent retreats in the mountains to fast paced urban corporate environments.


Katie is the founder and creator of Daylesford Heart of Yoga her own unique company where she has practiced as principal teacher for the last eight years. She regularly facilitates classes and workshops for corporate and private groups, as well as individual mentorship. Some of the many corporate clients that Katie has worked with include Bosche, Deakin University, Orora Group and Gurner.


Katie teaches yoga in a way that is accessible to people at all levels of experience. In her classes she takes students on a journey of inner nourishment, focusing on cultivating a connection with the peaceful, inner silence that exists within each and every one of us. 


Through flowing movement, breath and taking rest in deep stillness she assists her students to reduce stress and become more balanced, energised and positive in their lives.


As well with her group classes, she specializes in one-on-one personalised yoga and meditation sessions, empowering and supporting her students to develop their own yoga and meditation practice.


Katie’s passion, authenticity and dedication to sharing the many benefits of yoga with the world are reflected in her classes and in the personal care and attention she offers to her students.
